Cherry Bookkeeping, a bit about us and how it all started.

Owner Pauline Nichols is a qualified, experienced bookkeeper, being a Fellow Member of the IAB (International Association of Bookkeepers).

We have been established since 2014 but Pauline has been bookkeeping since 2003. Pauline comes from a commercial background and has worked in various businesses including publishing, fashion, shipping and export.

Pauline set up the bookkeeping business because so many small businesses wanted her help and she didn’t want to restrict herself to working for one specific company when she could be free to help lots of small businesses providing bespoke accounts support.

We have all sorts of clients (they are all lovely),  mainly small limited companies but we also cater for sole traders, sub-contractors and individuals.

No, we definitely have NOT been sleeping. 
We've been mega busy ensuring all our clients that need to be MTD compliant ARE MTD compliant.
If you haven't heard of MTD - Making Tax Digital - you must have been snoozing on the job. 
Making Tax (VAT) Digital is now in effect for VAT registered businesses that have a turnover above the VAT threshold of £85k.
